Audacity for Christ

1. AUDACITY FOR CHRIST

The History of Christianity lies in the work and the Person of Christ. Without him, there will be neither church history, nor salvation to those who believe in him. The promise of salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ is absolutely indispensable until today. The earlly apostles who did witness the works and persons of the Lord Jesus were bold  of what they had seen, and  their message is progressively unstoppable. Nevertheless, the history of Christianity is faded and poeple does give  significant the events and the nobles for Christ the First century church.

One thing I have learned from the history of the church. It is that the earlly church are very confident in their belief. They are so certain to the promise of Jesus. These believers had witnessed the signs and wonders that the God of the Bible and how he had shown his goodness to his people. This events in the past leads me to ask why were they so bold in proclaiming the Gospel? And my answer is very simple. They were so audacious because they knew that there is a command to preach Christ, and there is a promised that Jesus is with them until the end of time (Matt. 28:19-20).

Indeed, this truth is irrepressible to the life of Christians because Jesus himself is the same and cannot be changed. Today we are still living in the ironic situation like what the early believers had into. The indespesivland word of God is still living in the life of every Christians. The hostility of  the post modern is getting away from from the truth. People are fucusing on the something that is unnecessary some believers conform the pattern of the world like toleration, not to mentioned the materialistic way of teaching. Well, the early church father and the radical followers had hope to Jesus thAn to the certain world. They understood Paul's teaching to ashamed of the Gospel of Christ (Rom. 1:16), not to conform to the patern of this world (Rom. 12:2) and to preached the Gospel in the hostile world (Rom. 15: 20). This passage not only applicable for them, but also for today's post modern Christians who are really in at war against the spirit.
